Urs Mubarak Peer Aadil Bijapuri (R.A) (23rd Rabi-ul-Awwal)

We cordially invite you to partake in the auspicious celebration of Urs Mubarak Peer Aadil Bijapuri (R.A), an annual commemoration that takes place on the 23rd day of the Islamic month of Rabi-ul-Awwal.

The day will commence at 10 o'clock in the morning with the recitation of the Holy Quran, filling the air with divine verses and blessings. At 11 o'clock, a ceremonial flag hoisting will be conducted at the revered Dargah Sharif, accompanied by soul-stirring renditions of Kalaam and the recitation of Faateha. Following this, a solemn bathing ceremony, known as Gusal Sharif, will take place, where the honored figures of "Peerane Uzzam" and "Khulfa Ikraam" will cleanse the Dargah Sharif with recitations of Durud-e-Pak, while the aroma of lobaan and the fragrance of attar fill the air. The ceremony culminates with the closing of the doors of the Mazar-e-Pak after offering Faateha w Salaam.

After the midday prayer, Namaz-e-Zohar, the Sandal Shareef will be prepared at the residence of "Sarkar Peer Aadil," where the Shajara Aalya Khulfayya and Shajra Chishtiya Bheshtiya will be recited. Faateha Khuwani and prayers will be performed, felicitating all the esteemed Peeran-e-Uzzam and Khulfa Ikraam. With utmost respect and discipline, the Sandal Mubarak procession will commence from the home of "Sarkar Peer Aadil."

In the grand rally of the Sandal Mubarak, Peeran-e-Uzzam, Khulfa-e-Ikraam, disciples, and followers will come together. The Fukra Ikraam will sing mesmerizing Kalaam, accompanied by the enchanting beats of the daf. The procession will pass through the streets, including the revered Goal Gumbad, ultimately reaching the shrine of "Hazrat Noor Allah Shah Qadri Urf Massom Peer Langot Bandh (R.A)" where the Sandal Mubarak will be presented.

"Hazrat Masoom Peer" is the eldest son of "Sarkar Peer Aadil (R.A)." Even after the departure of his physical body, his divine soul remains for blessing us. This tradition was initiated during the lifetime of "Sarkar Peer Aadil (R.A)."

Following the Asr prayer, the Sandal Mubarak will commence from the shrine of "Hazrat Bad Bade Peer (R.A)" and conclude at the shrine of "Sarkar Peer Aadil (R.A)" before Maghrib.

After Maghrib, the Sajjada Nashin of "Haashim Peer (R.A)" will conduct the Sandal Mali ceremony. "Haashim Peer (R.A)" serves as the head of Bijapur. Subsequently, all the Khulfa Ikraam will adorn the holy attire, consisting of a Turban (Taj) and Robe (Kharka), and apply the Sandal Mubarak on the Mazar-e-Akdas while reciting Durude Pak.

The ceremonial bathing (Ghusul Sharif) and application of the Sandal Mubarak will be performed solely by the Peeran-e-Uzzam. Muriden and local devotees will have the opportunity to receive the Sandal blessed by the hands of the Khulfa Ikraam, applying it to their faces and heads.

Following the Sandal Mubarak, a grand "Gilaaf Sharif" will be presented, covering the holy Mazar-e-Pak. The "Gilaaf Sharif" will be contributed from various locations such as Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, U.P, and Bijapur, representing the cultural diversity of different states. Additionally, a magnificent blanket of flowers, crafted in various artistic forms, will be presented, enhancing the beauty and reverence of the occasion.

The Sajjada Nashin of "Hazrat Haashim Peer (R.A)" will then offer Faateha and prayers at the shrine of "Hazrat Haashim Peer (R.A)," followed by the recitation of Salat w Salaam. Subsequently, the doors of the Dargah Sharif will be opened for all devotees and visitors to seek blessings and offer their prayers.

After the Isha prayer, a wholesome Langar (community meal) program will begin, where thousands of people will be served food with utmost discipline, fostering unity and the spirit of sharing.

At 11 p.m., the enchanting Mehfile Sama will commence, featuring renowned Qawwals who will sing Sufi Qawwalis, transporting the audience into a realm of spiritual bliss. The program will conclude with the recitation of Salat w Salaam, leaving everyone with a sense of serenity and devotion.
